🕐How to Make A Resin Art Clock?🕐

Did you know you can make resin art that has a functional purpose?

We are going to show you how to make a Resin Art Wall Clock.

What do we need?

  • Round Art Board (you can use Wood or MDF board)
  • Clock Mechanism
  • Artline Medium viscosity Honey Resin
  • Artline Color Pigments (you can use colors of your choice)
  • Measuring Cup
  • Mixing Cups
  • Mixing Sticks
  • Gloves
  • Heat Gun
  • Good Mood 😉

Step #1. Select your Artboard

Pick a Round Art board to fit the space where you want to hang your wall resin clock. We are using a 30 cm round artboard. Do not forget to buy the hands, screws, and other implements to assemble the clock after finishing.

Step #2. Drill the Center

Find the center and drill a hole.

Step #3 Prepare your space

Place the Artboard on a mixing cup on a non-stick surface.

Check the surface for levelness.

Step #4. Mix Resin

Mix Artline Honey Resin in 2:1 proportion by weight using electronic scales.

Please use our guide How to Mix Resin correctly.

Step #5. Mix colors

Divide resin into several cups (depends on how many colors you are going to use). Color them with opaque pigment pastes (you can mix them together to get your own shade)

Step #6. Pour resin over the clock surface

Apply the colored epoxy resin to the clock face surface and spread it over the clock surface with stirring stick. Do not forgot to add colored resin to the side of your artboard too.

Step #7. Make cells with a heat gun

Go over the wet epoxy with a heat gun.

This will help to pop bubbles and push the colors around to make beautiful cells

Step #8. Let it dry

Then let the resin dry for 24-36 hours.

Step #9. Final steps

Add the clock hardware to the face.

VoilĂ ! Your Resin Art Wall Clock is ready!
