❄️How to Make Resin Snowflake Ornament❄️

New Year is around the corner!

This is the last chance to decorate your home and collect presents for your loved ones!

If you are still scratching your head, you might want to take a look at how you can make Christmas Snowflakes out of resin.

This is not only a great decoration or a present, but a fun way of spending your time inside your cozy place with your family!

What You Need:

❄️Snowflake Silicone Mold

❄️Crystal Epoxy Resin Kit  (You can find all in one Kit! No need to worry about gloves or mixing sticks!)

❄️Glitter

1. Prepare the Base of the Mold

To start with this Christmas snowflake project, you need to prepare the base of your mold.

Start with a clean snowflake silicone mold.

Mix Resin and Hardener in ratio 2:1 (by weight).

Combine Epoxy Resin with a glitter of your choice and add it to the outer most needles of the snowflake.

To set the glitter mixture in the base, gently tap the mold against the surface you are working on.

This will not only make space for your clear epoxy resin, that will act as the top layer, but also remove any air bubbles that were present initially.

2. Add the Top Layer

Pour the clear Resin mixture on top to seal the base layer. Pour the mixture in the mold using a small plastic cup with thin spout. As Resin is self-leveling, the top layer will spread out evenly. Once you have filled the mold to the brim, leave it to dry for about 24-36 hours.

3. Demold the Snowflake

Now that your snowflake has fully cured, you can carefully demold it.

Use your fingers to gently push the needles out of the mold one by one. This will help you avoid any damage to the thin petals attached with them.

Once the needles are out, you can safely push the core out of the mold as well.

After you have demolded your snowflake, you can now accessorize it with a beautiful ribbon to add to its beauty.

Beautiful Snowflake decoration is ready!

You can give these snowflakes to your friends and family or decorate your own home!

Happy New Year and All the Best!
