🫧How to get rid of bubbles?🫧

Here are some helpful hints👇:

 1. Choose the right Epoxy Resin (Artline Epoxy Resin - is the right one😉) There are a lot of epoxy resins on the market, but all of them have a different formula. Certain types of resins hold onto bubbles whereas others not.

2. Cast Epoxy Resin in a warm workspace/room. Epoxy Resin likes and needs a room temperature to cure completely.

3. Warm your Epoxy Resin before casting. It should have a room temperature too! Place your Epoxy Resin bottles into hot water bath for 5-10 minutes.

4. Mix your Epoxy Resin very slowly and carefully for 5-10 minutes. Do not whisk.

5. Warm up the molds you are pouring the Resin into before use. The temperature difference between molds and Epoxy Resin may produce surface tension.

6. Decrease the surface tension by adding a mica powder on the mold surface. Just dust the mold with your favorite one before adding resin.

7. Put a small amount of resin into a mold before filling completely. This will decrease the surface tension too.

8. Use a heat gun or torch to pop bubbles. For small silicone molds using a small heat gun for resin bubble removal is the best way to remove bubbles. Simply turn the heat gun on and quickly pass it over the resin at a medium distance (~10 cm) while you watch all those air bubbles disappear. Do not keep the heat gun too close to the resin – it can boil or even light up.

9. You can also use a plastic drinking straw instead of a heat gun. This method is preferred for smaller projects like jewelry and small molds. Insert the drinking straw into the bubble and blow very carefully and slowly. The force of the air should pop the bubble, but just remember that it must be done before the resin begins to cure.

10. Use bubble pop/release spray! When finished pouring, allow some bubbles to form. Give one spray over the surface and wait for a period to let new bubbles form. Spray again to remove newly formed bubbles. Do not spray too much!
